Fund Description:The Fund aims at supporting Italian export activities, Italy Export Credit invests in trade finance receivables, i.e. payment obligations issued by banks of the importing countries which are involved in the commercial deals.

Strategy: The objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve long term capital appreciation by investing in documentary credits, mainly Receivables (promissory notes and letters of credit and/or other eligible Receivables) issued by major international banks in the frame of trade finance deals. Such documents shall be considered as eligible if appropriately drafted on the basis of market standards and accepted by the Company. Documentary credits should be benefitting, directly or indirectly, if the case may be, by guarantees on political and/or commercial risks and they will mainly be chosen among those issued by major international banks; besides, promissory notes will be selecting among those duly guaranteed by primary banking aval or in any case appropriately secured.
Documentary credits will normally have a maturity up to 8 years.
